Copenhagen, April 21st — Agrobiomics is proud to introduce Pterica®, the company's first technology platform and a significant milestone in its mission to pioneer resilient agriculture through innovative and precise biostimulants.
Designed to help crops cope with abiotic stresses such as drought, salinity, and temperature extremes, Pterica® represents Agrobiomics' vision for the next generation of biostimulant technologies. The platform builds on the company's scientific approach of identifying and developing biomolecules designed to deliver targeted and predictable plant responses under challenging growing conditions.
The name Pterica® itself is deeply connected to the science behind the platform. The creation of Pterica® was a collaborative effort that brought together colleagues across the company. Through a series of campaign videos, Agrobiomics team shared the story behind the name, and how the company's first technology identity was shaped.
“Pterica® represents more than a name. It embodies our ambition to develop precise, science-backed solutions that help agriculture adapt to increasingly challenging environmental conditions," said Ananda Scherner, CEO of Agrobiomics. “As we continue advancing our technology pipeline, Pterica® provides a foundation for future innovations that support both agricultural partners and farmers around the world."
The introduction of Pterica® marks an important step in Agrobiomics’ journey, reinforcing the company's commitment to bringing differentiated technologies to a rapidly evolving agricultural market. As the biologicals sector continues to grow, Agrobiomics believes precision biostimulants such as those developed under the Pterica® platform will play an increasingly important role in helping agriculture become more resilient, productive, and sustainable.
